I really dragged my feet finishing this week’s Our Band Could Be Your Lit story, but I explained why over at the OBCBYL site.

Of course, the story itself is about the difficulties of writing — and how obnoxious writers can be — so maybe that’s explanation enough.

This is the penultimate story, folks, so check it out and then tune in this Friday, when I announce the last song I’ll be writing to for this project.

I write fiction and teach college writing and literature. I'm the author of the story collection There Is No Other Way to Worship Them, the novel Hagridden, and the flash fiction chapbooks Box Cutters and Where There Is Ruin.
