Rougarou: Journey to the End of the Night

Didn’t you ever run so fast you thought your legs were going to fall off? You know, like when you were running towards the swings? Or running away from Satan?

The neighbor’s dog.

Or, in this case, the rougarou!

That’s right, gang: come September 20, the residents of Columbus, Ohio, will be racing through the twilit streets to escape the ferocity of the dreaded rougarou, the bayou werewolf!

Okay, it’ll actually be a bunch of fun-loving grown-ups playing a game of tag, part of the nationwide Journey to the End of the Night adult tag event. But the one in Columbus is rougarou-themed, connected to my novel, Hagridden, and you’re invited!

So if you’re in the Columbus area on September 20, come hang out, try not to get tagged out, and then join us for a howling afterparty!

Details are on the Facebook event page or on my Events page here on the website.

Hope to see you there! Though, if you come, remember:

  1. Remarkable synchronicity – a NO friend asked me to write a poem about the rougarou; I did, and I have just entered it in a competition. [I would share it, but the competition organisers insist on entries being unpublished.]
