New publication

WhiskeyPaper, where you can go to get drunk on literature. And where my story “The Things You Said You Never Heard” is published.

Gear up, folks! Today, I have a new story online, my flash piece “The Things We Said We Never Heard” over at the excellent WhiskeyPaper. (The editors’ enthusiastic acceptance email was AWESOME. They even wished me a “happy publication day” when they sent me the link this morning. I think that just became my new favorite holiday! Thanks a million,ย Loran Smith and Leesa Cross-Smith!)

But wait, I’m not done yet! Stay tuned next weekend(ish), when I’ll have another new story up online, and then, on Sept. 18, I’m reading on stage at the Blue Monk in Portland.

And in the meantime: write on!

    1. You ask the coolest questions! I wrote a long reply to your editing question the other day but my computer ate it — still meaning to get back to that.

I’ll think about this and get back to you. (We’re off to a JASNA tea right now.) Stat tuned!

  1. Very cool! Also reminds me of conversations between me and Dad and thinking about what we thought was said to each other. lol
