This coming weekend, I’ll be reading at the Northwest release party for Hagridden here in Portland , alongside my friends Mark Russell and Monica Drake. And just today, I booked travel for my Midwest book tour in Ohio and Indiana .
But today, I wanted to take one last look back at the Southern tour I just finished.
Starting, of course, with the selfies:
Boerne, TX
Austin, TX
San Antonio, TX
Kerrville, TX

Fort Smith, AR
And the venue posters:

Reading with Zoë Miller in Austin, TX
Book signing and reading at Menger Springs, Boerne, TX
Book signing at Barnes & Noble in San Antonio, TX
Reading at Schreiner University, Kerrville, TX
Reading at University of Arkansas-Fort Smith
And the very cool guestbook my mother gifted me for my birthday, as a way for fans to leave me notes during readings:
I enjoyed the travel, too, of course:
With Wild Bill Hickok in Boerne, TX
At Schreiner University, Kerrville, TX
At Buford Park, Sulphur Springs, TX
“No-Name City,” Oklahoma
Pho Vietnam, Fort Smith, AR
The clock tower at the University of Arkansas-Fort Smith
In all, I drove more than 2230 miles!
But the best part was getting to reunite with so many great folks and meet so many new people:

By the way, my copy of ‘Hagridden’ has just arrived (excited!). I have a lot of busy-ness right now, but I intend to read a little every day and see how that goes.
